I'm running for the San Francisco Board of Education.

I have three kids in SFUSD. My youngest starts TK this fall and joins my 2nd grader at Flynn. I also have a rising sixth grader who will attend James Lick. Like a lot of parents in this city, I live the successes and challenges of our district in my own home. I think about what our public schools give my kids. What they should be giving every kid. I think about what we owe our city and each other in quality public education for all.

I believe SFUSD can be reliable, consistent, and excellent for every child. I want a district where every kid thrives at their neighborhood school. Where teachers and paraeducators have the time, training, and trust to do the work they came here to do, principals have what they need to lead their schools. Where enrollment is growing again and where questions families ask of this district get real answers.

We don't get there by staying quiet. We get there by asking the hard questions, listening carefully, and doing the work alongside families, educators, and neighbors who love San Francisco as much as I do.

There is so much I’m excited to share with you in the months ahead. Sign up below to be part of it! I'll keep you updated with where I'll be, what I'm working on, and ways to get involved.

I’M FOCUSED ON…

A District Families Choose

A school system worth choosing across San Francisco, with strong programs, stable teaching teams, and pathways that hold together from preschool to graduation.

Student Outcomes

The board is focused on what matters most for kids: literacy, math, English proficiency, and readiness for what comes next. The work now is to hold the focus, support the educators delivering it, and make sure no kid is missed.

Accountability and Transparency

What are we paying for, and who is it helping? Real answers, every time.
